It's wonderful to hear reactions from the nurses and read what you've written about the event, but please be aware that it's not only the nurses who were thankful of the letters. Recipients like myself really appreciated the opportunity to say thank you... In my case, I never even knew the names of the nurses who saved my life and somehow just thanking the nurses on duty as I left the ward for the last time could ever thank them properly for the care and consideration they showed to my family and I.
