UPDATE TO TRIO MEMBERS

Your board and the ONE TRIO revitalization planning committee have been busy the last few months working a “bottom up” plan to improve the organization and its services to you. Based on your feedback in recent surveys, we have formulated some critical strategic goals as shown here.

 

All Goals Must Align with TRIO Mission and Vision!!

 

Priority One: INCREASE CAPITAL RESOURCES (Human, Financial)

A.    Grow Membership Base (Human Capital)

o   Engage Members

o   Recruit New Members

o   Reach Out to Inactive Members

o   Grow Number of Chapters

o   Broaden diversity of membership (age, ethnicity, donor families, living donors, family supporters, general interest)

o   Grow and develop organizational leadership to insure leadership succession and turnover in new leaders.

B.     Develop and maintain a strong financial position for TRIO

o    Engage Members

o   Control expenditures

o   Grow revenue

 

Priority Two: ENRICH INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS

A.    Engage Members

B.     Enhance Quality and Increase Frequency of Communications

o   Among Members

o   Among Chapters

o   Among National and Chapters

 

C.     Strengthen External Communications

External communications will, by definition, expand as a result of efforts to satisfy the achievement of Priorities One and Two. Let’s let it develop as we proceed.

 

Priority Three: INCULCATE ONE TRIO CULTURE

A.    Engage Members in Available Member Services

B.     Develop a “ONE TRIO” Culture Throughout the Organization

 

 

Our next step is to develop functional goals that will guide in achieving the growth and sustainment strategies. We are also committed to keeping you informed as we proceed.
