Ronald S. Taubman- TRIO, Inc. Vice-President, Member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Communications Committee.

Ron serves as a member of the Board of Directors and the President of the Southern California Ventura County West Valley Chapter of TRIO. Ron retired in July 2001 after a successful business career as President of RST Real Estate Company, Inc., a Real Estate and Appraisal Company. On July 3, 2001, Ron received his "Gift of Life," a Kidney and Pancreas transplant at UCLA. Ron now dedicates his time to philanthropic activities and promoting organ donor awareness throughout the United States.

Besides his TRIO activities, Ron is involved with numerous other organizations. These include: Committee membership in The Southern California Renal Disease Council (ESRD Network 18); volunteers as an Ambassador for One Legacy (the Southern California Organ Procurement Organization); volunteers as a Peer Counselor at dialysis centers in Los Angeles for the National Institute of Transplantation, teaching dialysis patients about their choices with organ transplantation; is the Alternate UNOS Representative for TRIO National; and after 13 years of volunteer work with BILY (Because I Love You, A Parent Support Group) a national parent support organization, he remains active in a support capacity. Ron is also an active member of the Warner Center Chapter of Kiwanis International.

Ron has been married to his college sweetheart, Arden, for 38 years. They have two daughters, Stephanie and Jennifer, and two granddaughters, Shannon and Madeleine. Ron and Arden live in Northridge, California.
